Ariana Grande’s estranged husband Dalton Gomez is said to be “adjusting” to life following their apparent separation, with him reportedly “learning to accept it for what it is”.
It was reported a few months ago that Ariana, 30, and real estate agent Dalton, 28, had separated. The suggestion came shortly after their second wedding anniversary, with them having tied the knot in a ceremony hosted in 2021.
There has since been rumours that Ariana has begun dating fellow actor Ethan Slater, 31, following her separation from Dalton. The pair are co-stars on the film adaptation of stage musical Wicked, which has been in production in the UK. The new romance is said to have begun following Ethan’s apparent split from his wife Lilly Jay.

A source told Us Weekly: “It’s been a little while since Ariana and Dalton split, but he’s been adjusting to his new normal and learning to accept it for what it is. It’s certainly not how he expected things to play out because he obviously assumed they would be together forever.”
It was added that Dalton – who reportedly met Ariana through his work in real estate back in 2020 – was used to “living a private life” prior to his romance with the Grammy Award winner. The source then claimed they are going through a divorce.
“He never imagined he would be going through a divorce in the public eye,” the source told the outlet. It was further commented that Dalton is coping with it though and the source said he’s “grateful” for the support of his family and friends.

The remarks come after the outlet reported last month that Ariana and Dalton had decided to separate in January. It’s been reported that they subsequently tried to reconcile, though she’s now rumoured to be in a new relationship.
A source told the outlet last month that Ariana and Dalton had been experiencing “issues for months”. It was added that they were having issues prior to her leaving to film Wicked in the UK that they “couldn’t resolve” and that the distance “did not help” the situation.
