Sean Connery’s brother passes away seven months after James Bond star’s death

Sean Connery’s younger brother Neil has passed away, just seven months after the James Bond star’s death.

Neil, who was also an actor, passed away aged 82, following a long illness.

During his time on screen, Neil appeared in spoofs based on James Bond, after Sean made his name playing the secret agent.

He starred in the 007 spoof Operation Kid Brother, in which he played Bond’s brother, and 1969 movie The Body Stealers.

Neil also featured in an episode of Taggert in 1989.
